What is the difference from PPF and Ceramic coating?
Paint protection film and ceramic coating are both used for the intention of protecting your vehicles appearance. The main differentiation is that a paint protection film’s main function is to protect the exterior of your vehicle from chips, scuffs, and scratches.
Ceramic coating’s layer will not defend your vehicle from road debris and rocks while driving. Instead, ceramic coating is best for providing a glossy finish to your vehicle that makes your vehicle much easier to clean and protect your paint.
Can you do both PPF and ceramic Coating?
YES, we can definitely apply both to your ride! We do recommend on deciding with a paint protection film first, in order to protect your car from scratches and chips. Adding a coating does not stop the film from self-healing. After the PPF is applied and the vulnerable spots are covered we can have ceramic coating applied later on.
Can I put PPF On my new vehicle?
Yes, most vehicle paint is fully cured before it leaves the assembly line.
Can Paint protection film self heal?
The film is Designed to self heal light scratches and light stone chips. The top coat is the self-healing layer and is about 13 microns thick. The film will not heal if that layer is penetrated.
